In the fall of 2014 Seraphim Editions published the anthology Engraved: Canadian Stories of World War One. It's a powerful collection of stories about how that war changed Canadian society. This episode of Art Waves welcomes three Engraved writers: Carol Leigh Wehking, who wrote about conscientious objector Edwin Zavitz; Jean Ryan, who wrote about a WWI nurse from Paris, Ont.; and Lise Levesque, who wrote about the tragedy of her grandfather, Edouard Quirion.
